Security Engineer

1. Perform issue categorization and in-depth analysis of security events.
2. Conduct all necessary follow-up actions of vulnerability and/or security incident resolution.
3. Coordinate security projects and acts as a liaison between IT Security, process owners, and system managers.

Educational Requirements
Bachelors/Masters of Engineering/Computer Applications/CS/IT or Equivalent preferred

Key Job Requirements:

1. 1. Good understanding of compliance std. like ISO 27001; GDPR,SOC II
   2. Configuring and managing Microsoft Security products- Defender for endpoint, cloud apps, BitLocker,sentinel, AIP, security & compliance center.
   3. Should know how to secure Client/Server OS and services.
   4. Knowledgeable hold on concepts of IAM, Networking, PKI & encryptions, common attack vectors (credentials theft, lateral movements, token stole, ransomware & similar)
   5. Working knowledge in PowerShell to run bulk tasks through scripts.
   6. Coordinates resolution efforts and prepares reports of findings.
   7. Implement and execute security evaluation processes.
   8. Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
   9. Demonstrates a high level of motivation, confidence, integrity, and responsibility.

Technical and Professional Requirements:
Primary skills: Security Testing

Preferred Skills

1. 1. Should have a sound knowledge of information threats, vulnerabilities,
      exposures security controls and countermeasures
   2. Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing, malware analysis, threat research, and web application security testing.
   3. Be able to consult on Information Security controls to be implemented in new IT initiatives
   4. Be able to keep abreast with emerging threats that could be exploited by hackers.
