As part of the Crestech Delivery Team, you will be an integral part of projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through Functional Tests. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report and track to closure.

• Your primary role would be to perform Functional Testing in different phases of the project including Requirement Analysis, Test Designing (Creating Test cases/Scenarios), Test Execution & Test Reporting which will include
  • Procure or create test data required for testing.
  • Create and execute Test Cases and Report defects along with Bug summary reports
  • Re-Test bugs and follow up to closure.
• You will analyse the requirements and generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents/artefacts.
• You would be extensively involved in Regression, Exploratory, SQL/DB testing.

Educational Requirements
Bachelors/Masters of Engineering/Computer Applications/CS/IT or Equivalent preferred.

Key Job Requirements:

• Must have end-to-end knowledge and experience in Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Software QA Methodologies and Processes.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Proficient in Regression Testing.
• Working knowledge on any of the bug tracking tool.
• Should have good exposure to Agile methodology.
• Excellent communication and client handling skills.
• Analytical and Problem solving skills.
• Support the implementation, development and maintenance of relevant Quality Matrices & Artefacts, InfoSec & Cyber Security policies, Standards, and Guidelines in alignment with applicable laws, common security frameworks and leading practices as per Organizational requirements.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

Primary skills: Functional Testing (Manual Testing)
You should have working knowledge on any of the bug tracking tool.

Preferred Skills:

• CTFL, ISTQB, CSQA and CSTE certified.
• Experience in API/ Web Services, Mobile Testing will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of at least one defect management tool like Jira, MTM, TFS etc.
• Possess knowledge on DDL / DML, Joins etc.
• Programming skills, knowledge of OOPS concepts etc.
• Exposure to latest technologies & frameworks like API / Web Services.

Preferred Skills:
Test & Project Management Certification.

• Helps to create a positive, collaborative working environment for the team.
• Quick grasping and flexibility to adapt to new technologies/processes.
• Should be able to resolve workspace conflicts if managing a team.
